IMES International’s Bridge of Don based team have relocated to Ellon where they will reside in SengS House on Balmacassie Commercial Park.

The team will now share the premises with SengS, another Pryme Group company. The move comes following the merger of IMES International and Caley Ocean Systems with Pryme Group last summer. The move brings collective benefits for both companies, with greater access to shared resources including environmental test chambers and a large test tank for submerged gas testing. SengS will also draw on the additional engineering, site service resource and product offering in IMES, the businesses will work together to strengthen their offering and deliver enhanced solutions for their customers.

Douglas Morrison, Director of Group Services, who has overall responsibility for IMES International, SengS and the servicing side of Caley Ocean Systems, comments, “When we completed the merger, we knew that there would be excellent opportunities for service integration within the wider group. It made perfect sense to bring the two  Aberdeen-based teams together under one  roof and work on integrating them , the SengS facility offers much greater opportunities to grow the  overall service offering. I’m looking forward to seeing  how the two businesses will work together moving forward.”

The day-to-day operations of both businesses will remain unchanged, suppliers and customers should continue to communicate with their main point of contact as before.

Flexlife, a Seanamic Group company, who share the Bridge of Don site with IMES International will also move to the Ellon facility and they will continue to operate as normal.
